  Day 8: Thangnak : acclimatization and alpine practice

Day 8: Toilet tent in deep shit... erm, snow.
The snow had been falling non-stop and we got to spend a day at Thangnak. Shown here is our toilet tent among the rocks covered in deep snow.
Day 8: White Thangnak (4270m)
Our tents and the tea houses covered in deep snow. It was originally our planned acclimatisztion day anyway, so we spent the day in the dinning tent practicing rope works.

Day 8: Meng Hui the snowman...
It was a boring day and Meng Hui and Germaine started to build a snowman, which attracted the Nepali kids curiosities.

As it turned out, they were making a snow woman with big boobs.

Day 8: After glow
After snowing non-stop for more then a day, the snow fall finally lighten and there were after glow behind the mountain.
Day 8: Alpine glow
Day 8: Alpine glow in the evening at Thangnak.
Day 8: Cloud and snow
Looking south to the Ingku valley. It was still very cloudy in the evening and started snowing again during the night.
