Day 7: From Kothe to Thangnak
We rock hopped along the Ingku Khola river bank and climbed up a small cascade to a plain which leads to our lunch point.

The porters making their way up.
Day 7: Rocky cascade leading up
We were leaving the rocky river bank by climbing up the cascade to the plain. Thereafter there were still quite some ups and downs before it was relatively flat.
Day 7: Morning dew
Day 7: Morning dew on Rhododendron flowers.
Day 7: Scenery along the way
Not sure what mountain this is but it's probably a no name peak.
Day 7: Our lunch point
The hut was unoccupied and our kitchen crews used it as a kitchen.
Day 7: Where we came from
Looking downstream along Ingku Khola from lunch point.
Day 7: Gompa
Dal Bardor, Kapore and I visited the Gompa (Buddhist monestry) near Thangnak for prayers. Legend has it that the statues in the Gompa were carried from Tibet, and when they reached here, the statues suddenly became very heavy that they couldn't moved them anymore, and so they built the Gompa here. It started snowing when we left the Gompa and gotten heavier when we reached Thangnak.
