| Day 28: A Yak This fellow was just outside our lodge. |

| Day 28: Pumori and Kala Pattar Initially we planned to visit Everest base camp today, but scrapped the idea as there was no expedition there and we have seen it from Kala Pattar. So we decided to leave for Dzonglha. We stopped for lunch at "Above the Cloud Lodge" in Lobuche, where I had the best yak steak of the entire trip. |
