| Day 20: Tibetian snow chickens Although there was beef, we were several weeks without chickens and were quite tempted to roast them. Unfortunately they were protected by regulations of the Sagarmatha National Park. |

| Day 20: Moving to high camp From base camp it was a short trek up to the high camp. Many other groups didn't even camp at high camp but instead chose to start early and did the summit directly from base camp. |
